What Makes Us Different

Giving Grace is a 501(c)(3) organization serving families with children in Denton County who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless. Through wraparound support services, we provide consistent guidance, compassionate care, and a strong community of support that empowers families to overcome barriers, achieve stability, and build self-sufficiency for a brighter future.

What makes Giving Grace different is our belief that lasting stability requires more than temporary shelter. After years of working directly with families in crisis, we have seen firsthand that while traditional emergency shelters and transitional housing programs provide important immediate relief, they often do not address the deeper life challenges and patterns that contribute to ongoing instability and generational homelessness.

That is why Giving Grace is developing our Love First Campus — a transformational campus designed not simply as a housing solution, but as a place where families can heal, grow, and develop the tools necessary for long-term independence. At the center of the Love First model is a commitment to life skills development, education, personal responsibility, and lasting behavioral change.

Our holistic approach addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each family because we believe true transformation happens when people are supported as a whole person. Rather than focusing only on where families live today, we are committed to helping them build a stable and thriving future for generations to come.
